How it works

From install to first scan in under a minute

The toolkit is a Chrome Manifest V3 extension — one-time install, no permissions beyond the active tab.

STEP 1

Install the extension

Add TestKase Accessibility Toolkit from the Chrome Web Store. It is free and does not require admin privileges.

STEP 2

Auto-sign-in from your session

Open DevTools and switch to the TestKase panel. The toolkit detects your active TestKase session and signs in silently.

STEP 3

Scan the active tab

Click Scan. Results appear in the panel and sync to your workspace so teammates can pick them up without a fresh audit.

Capabilities

What the Chrome toolkit includes

A full accessibility workflow — inspector, audit, and workspace sync — inside Chrome DevTools.

One-click scans

Scan the active tab with a single button — no URL entry, no form fills.

DevTools element inspector

Click a finding to highlight the exact DOM node with the native Chrome inspect overlay.

Silent auto-sign-in

Opens a brief tab against TestKase to pick up your session token — no passwords re-entered.

Workspace sync

Every scan is pushed to your TestKase workspace automatically, ready to share with teammates.

Self-refreshing tokens

The extension rotates tokens behind the scenes so you stay signed in across browser restarts.

Environment switcher

Flip between QA and production TestKase endpoints for internal testing without re-installing.

Under the hood

Built on Chrome Manifest V3, the modern way

The toolkit is a purpose-built Chrome extension — no remote code, minimal permissions, and tight integration with the TestKase web app so your account stays in sync.

  • Uses activeTab permission — no broad host access required
  • Silent handoff auth via TestKase sign-in session
  • Results persisted server-side, never locked to one browser
  • Logout in the extension or web app triggers sign-out everywhere
