Quick Setup

Up and Running in 2 Minutes

No server setup. No configuration files. Install, authenticate, and start managing tests.

01

Install from Chrome Web Store

Search for "TestKase" on the Chrome Web Store and install the extension. It adds a TestKase icon to your browser toolbar.

02

Enter Your Personal Access Token

Generate a PAT from your TestKase account (My Profile → API Keys) and paste it into the extension. One-time setup.

03

Map GitHub Repo to TestKase Project

The extension detects your GitHub repository and lets you map it to a TestKase project. This mapping is remembered for future visits.

04

Open Any GitHub Issue

Navigate to any GitHub issue and click the TestKase icon. The side panel opens with test cases and cycles linked to that issue.

8 Key Capabilities

Full Test Management, Zero Context Switching

Everything you need to manage test quality for GitHub issues — packed into a lightweight browser side panel.

Create Test Cases

Create detailed test cases with title, summary, preconditions, test data, expected results, priority, status, and custom fields — all from the side panel.

AI-Powered Generation

Auto-generate test cases from GitHub issue context with one click. Review, edit, and bulk-create — AI handles the heavy lifting.

Link Existing Test Cases

Browse your TestKase project library with folder navigation and search. Link existing test cases to the current GitHub issue.

Test Cycle Management

Create test cycles, add or remove test cases, and track pass/fail/blocked progress with visual progress bars.

Test Execution

Execute tests step-by-step with pass/fail/blocked/not-executed status. Add comments, upload evidence screenshots, and navigate between cases.

Attachments & Evidence

Upload screenshots, logs, documents, and videos directly to test cases and executions. Evidence is stored securely in the cloud.

Folder Organization

Organize test cases into folders and subfolders with a hierarchical tree. Create, rename, and delete folders from the side panel.

Search, Sort & Paginate

Find test cases and cycles quickly with search, column sorting, and pagination. Manage large test suites efficiently.

Why a Chrome Extension?

Dev-first teams live in GitHub. The Chrome extension brings test management where you already work.

No Tab Switching

The side panel stays open alongside your GitHub issue. Read the issue on the left, manage tests on the right.

Works With Any Repo

Personal repos, organization repos, public or private — the extension detects any GitHub issue URL automatically.

First of Its Kind

TestKase is the first test management tool to offer a dedicated Chrome extension for GitHub. No other TMT tool has this.

Secure by Design

Your PAT is stored in Chrome's secure extension storage. All API calls go over HTTPS. No data leaves your browser except to TestKase servers.
