A bill you can predict
Two device products and one workspace, instead of a catalogue of separately-priced lines.
| Item | What you get with TestKase | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Shape of the bill | Live and Automate, with test management beside them. TestMu AI prices live testing, automation, visual comparison, test management, orchestration, load testing and agent testing as seven separately-priced lines. | Two products |
| Virtual and real devices | One Live or Automate thread reaches real iPhones and Android handsets, Android emulators, iOS simulators and desktop browsers. Their catalogue draws a commercial line between virtual and real device access on both the live and the automation side. | One thread |
| Pricing unit | Device testing per parallel thread, with no per-user charge and unlimited device-minutes on paid plans. Their Test Manager is priced per seat. | Per thread |
| Test case management | Part of the same workspace as the runs, free for up to three users, so a failure has a case to attach to without crossing a vendor boundary. | Same workspace |
| Published prices | Live and Automate are priced per parallel thread, and paid plans are not metered by the minute. No sales call is needed to see what you will pay. | On the page |
Everything a bug needs, in one place
A session finds a bug, the bug becomes a defect against a case, the case is re-run in a cycle — and only then does it leave for Jira, GitHub or Azure Boards. Nothing crosses a vendor boundary on the way.
- Live sessions and automated runs on the same farm
- Defects filed against test cases, not pasted into chat
- Outcomes to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Google Chat or a webhook
What surrounds the runs
Five products in one account, and what a failing test hands back.
| Item | What you get |
|---|---|
| One account, five products | Interactive testing on real devices and desktop browsers, Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Espresso and XCUITest automation against the same farm, visual baselines, an accessibility scanner and test cases, cycles, plans, requirements and defects. |
| Users are not a billing input | Device testing is billed by how many sessions run at once, never by how many people have logins, so adding a designer, a product manager or a contractor for a fortnight costs nothing. |
| Artifacts per test | Runs are grouped into builds, and each test inside a build carries its own recording, console log, network log and screenshots. Open the failure and you are watching that test, not hunting for it. |
| Per-test history | Behind each test is the same test across earlier builds, which answers the question that decides whether you investigate: has this been failing since Tuesday, or did it break with this commit. |
| Shareable session | A share link hands a colleague the whole session, including request headers and cookies — and what reaches a device and how long each artifact lives is written down. |
| Whichever device it ran on | A thread can be spent on real hardware or on an Android emulator or iOS simulator, and the report looks the same either way. |
An accessibility report you can stand behind
Scans run in a real desktop browser on the same farm as everything else, and accessibility scanning is free. Automated rules reach 23 of the 55 WCAG 2.2 AA criteria; the rest are marked not checked rather than passed, so the report never claims more than it tested.
- Up to ten URLs per scan, in a real desktop browser
- 23 of 55 WCAG 2.2 AA criteria checked automatically
- Everything else marked not checked, never passed
Frequently asked questions
Yes. LambdaTest rebranded to TestMu AI in January 2026 and lambdatest.com now redirects to testmuai.com. Existing accounts, configurations and integrations carried across. We keep the old name on this page because it is still the name most people type into a search box.
On ours, two device products — Live and Automate — plus test management that is free for up to three users, all in one workspace. On theirs, the product lines are priced separately: live testing, automation, visual, test management, the AI agent, orchestration and performance each carry their own plan, and the device lines split again between virtual and real hardware.
Not on the device side. Live and Automate are priced per parallel thread with no per-user charge at all, and test management is per seat but free for up to three users. If twenty people occasionally need a real phone, none of them costs you a seat.
No. One Live or Automate thread reaches real iPhones and Android handsets, Android emulators, iOS simulators and desktop browsers, chosen per test rather than per plan.
Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Espresso (Android) and XCUITest (iOS) run on the farm, and your tests stay as they are — you change the endpoint. Results from six report formats — JUnit XML, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, NUnit and Cucumber — can be ingested too, so a run executed on your own infrastructure lands in the same build view.
Yes. Every account gets free device-minutes on both Live and Automate, with no card required. Accessibility scanning is free, and test management is free for up to three users.
Point your Selenium, Playwright or Appium suite at the TestKase endpoint and run it. Start with the free device-minutes and compare the results on your own tests before you commit.
